If you have a certain type of non-
Hodgkin's lymphoma that has returned or has not adequately responded to other cancer treatments, your healthcare provider may prescribe
Bexxar® (
tositumomab).
The recommended dosing regimen for Bexxar consists of four appointments with your healthcare provider over one to two weeks. You will receive two Bexxar doses one day, followed by two more doses on the same day of the week one to two weeks later. In between these appointments, you will receive a body scan that shows your healthcare provider how much and where Bexxar is in your body.
Bexxar comes in the form of a liquid that is given as a slow injection into a vein (an intravenous, or IV, infusion). It is administered by a healthcare provider in a healthcare setting.
