Bexxar Complications

Although
Bexxar® (tositumomab) can be an effective treatment for non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, it is not an appropriate medicine for everyone. For example, this prescription medicine can cause potentially serious problems, such as infusion reactions, low blood cell counts, and hypothyroidism (an underactive thyroid gland).

To help avoid these and other complications with Bexxar, make sure to discuss your medical history with your healthcare provider before beginning treatment with this chemotherapy treatment. You should not receive this drug if you are pregnant or have ever had an allergic reaction to a mouse protein.
