Were you looking for information on Bevacizumab? Bevacizamab is a common misspelling of bevacizumab.
Bevacizumab (Avastin®) is commonly prescribed to treat certain types of cancer, such as colorectal and non-squamous, non-small cell lung cancer. Because the drug binds to and inhibits a certain protein that encourages the growth of new blood vessels, the cancer is essentially "starved" of its blood supply. Bevacizumab is given by injection at your healthcare provider's office. Side effects can include stomach pain, diarrhea, nausea, and fatigue.
