Although it is unlikely that your healthcare provider will give you too much bendamustine (Treanda®), let him or her know right away if you experience any signs of bendamustine toxicity. Some of these symptoms may include:
- Breathing problems
- Heart rhythm problems
- Problems with muscle coordination, which would cause difficulty with movement and walking.
A number of other potentially serious side effects can occur during treatment with bendamustine. Other problems that require immediate medical care include:
- Severe or persistent vomiting
- Unusual bleeding
- Chest pain.
