Aranesp® is a prescription medicine that is used for the treatment of anemia in people with chronic kidney failure or who are undergoing chemotherapy. It works by stimulating the production of red blood cells by the bone marrow. Aranesp is an injectable drug that is given under the skin or by IV. While most people tolerate Aranesp well, potential side effects include diarrhea, hypertension, and fatigue.
