Actiq Manufacturer

Actiq® (
 fentanyl lozenge) is a medication licensed to treat breakthrough cancer pain in people who are regularly using other opioid pain medications to treat their underlying pain. It comes in the form of a lozenge, for oral use. Several strengths of this medication are available; all forms require a prescription.
 
If you are prescribed this pain medication, you may wonder who makes it. Brand-name Actiq is manufactured by Cephalon, Inc. Various generic forms are available as well. Several manufacturers make generic Actiq products, including:
