Drug Interactions With Abiraterone

If certain medications are taken together with abiraterone, there is a possibility for drug interactions. Some of these reactions can make the medications less effective or increase your risk for side effects. Codeine, certain pain medications, and tamoxifen are among the medications that can react with abiraterone. Your healthcare provider may need to adjust your dosages or recommend not taking some of these drugs together.
